Makkah Mukarramah – June 2025:
The sacred rituals of Hajj 2025 officially began today. Thousands of pilgrims reached Mina, signaling the start of their spiritual journey.
Many pilgrims began arriving last night. They will stay in Mina until Fajr on the 9th of Dhul Hijjah. After that, they will head to Arafat to perform Waqoof-e-Arafa, the most important ritual of Hajj. During this time, pilgrims will combine Zuhr and Asr prayers, offering both at the time of Zuhr.
Later, they will move to Muzdalifah to collect pebbles for the stoning ritual in Mina. This symbolic act represents the rejection of evil and is performed with deep spiritual intent.
The Pakistan Hajj Mission completed all travel arrangements for Pakistani pilgrims. Under the government scheme, over 88,000 pilgrims will reach Mina by 932 buses before Zuhr on the 8th of Dhul Hijjah.
As per official plans, 72% of pilgrims will travel to Arafat using the Hajj train. The remaining will go by bus, as part of the coordinated transport system.
The Hajj Mission has urged all pilgrims to follow their scheduled departures strictly. Doing so will help avoid overcrowding and protect pilgrims from extreme heat. In partnership with Saudi authorities, the mission advised using only authorized transport listed in the official plan.
Additionally, walking between holy sites during transit hours has been discouraged. These guidelines aim to ensure the safety and comfort of all pilgrims as they perform this once-in-a-lifetime religious duty.
