Recently, the tech giant introduced “Google AI Essentials,” a comprehensive course tailored for beginners, regardless of their background. Led by Google’s AI experts, this self-paced online course equips learners with fundamental AI skills, facilitating increased productivity and hands-on experience with various AI tools. Available on Coursera in English, it covers essential topics such as brainstorming with AI, enhancing work efficiency, and ensuring responsible AI usage by addressing potential biases.
Moreover, Google is expanding its Google Career Certificates (GCC) program, offering pathways to entry-level positions in burgeoning fields like Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, and Digital Marketing. Recognizing the transformative potential of AI across industries, GCC now integrates AI applications into its curriculum, providing learners with practical insights and skill application opportunities. In a bid to foster greater participation, Google plans to grant up to 45,000 scholarships for GCC in 2024.
